Apex Powersthenics is bringing competitive weighted calisthenics to one of the Pacific Northwestโ€™s premier fitness events.

On July 18, athletes will test their weighted pull-up and weighted dip strength inside the WA State Fitness Expo.

$7,000 Total Prize Purse

The WA State Fitness Expo is excited to welcome Apex Powersthenics, a competition organization helping build the future of competitive weighted calisthenics.

Founded by Tahj Warren, Apex Powersthenics is creating a platform where athletes can compete, connect, and showcase real strength through weighted bodyweight movements.

What Is Powersthenics?

Powersthenics combines the strength of powerlifting with the control and athleticism of calisthenics. Athletes perform weighted bodyweight movements and compete to lift the most added weight.

Competition Format

๐Ÿ”ฅ Solos

Athletes will complete a 1-rep max weighted pull-up using any grip and a weighted dip.

๐Ÿฅ‡ 1st Place: $2,000 + Custom Weighted Calisthenics Belt
๐Ÿฅˆ 2nd Place: $1,000
๐Ÿฅ‰ 3rd Place: $500

๐Ÿ”ฅ Duos

Both athletes from each duo team will complete a weighted pull-up using any grip and a weighted dip.

๐Ÿฅ‡ 1st Place Team: $2,000 Total
๐Ÿฅˆ 2nd Place Team: $1,000 Total
๐Ÿฅ‰ 3rd Place Team: $500 Total

Total weight lifted only includes the weight attached to the belt. Bodyweight will not be measured.
